Quality Management Systems

Environmental Management Systems

Although currently a recommendation and not a requirement, the demand for ISO 14001 / EMS certification is rising significantly and suppliers are increasingly expected to have evidence of an environmental management system in place to satisfy client procurement requirements.

However, an EMS needs to reflect the scale of your business and the impact it has on its environment. In the Fire and Security Industry typical environmental factors might be: reducing packaging on job sites; disposal of batteries; optimising vehicle performance; contingency planning to avoid contamination from chemicals; as well as fairly generic factors common to most businesses, such as selecting products from amongst EMS certified suppliers.

Internal Auditing

Risks such as a lack of competence in technical standard of workmanship; or a faulty component; or an unreliable supplier prejudicing a completion date. Our approach is to devise and carry out audit plans for your business processes that give you an on-going account of how you are controlling the key business risks in your area of operation. So, for example, the knowledge that job/contract files are consistently proved to be complete, gives some assurance that contracts have been setup and are being maintained to standard.

Training
